The mosque "Akmeshit".
On 30 September 2008, the first day of Oraza ait was opened a new house of God for all the muslims in a new neighborhood "Syr". The author of this project was well-known architect Kazbek Zharylgapov. Today everyone who is entering the city from the new bridge can admire the white marble building of the Central Mosque. It is so called - "Ak-Mosque". The total area is 3363 square meters. It is estimated that in the mosque at the same time 1300 people are able to perform namaz. It is planned to open here a madrasah in the future. |
