Al Farabi avenue – Moslem mosque and University Nur-Mubarak founded by the presidents of Kazakhstan and Egypt – Presidential park – natural park entrance – falcons, hawks and hunting dogs farm (tour inside) – Great Almaty gorge – Great Almaty river – drinking water supply construction (built by the imprisoned Japanese soldiers after the World War Two) – «Alpine Rose» hotel (good place to have lunch) – Great Almaty lake – excursion and rest on the lake – walking tour up the gorge admiring glaciers and snow peaks – transfer back to the city.
