The Lisakovsk archaeological site

Виртуальный тур

The Lisakovsk archaeological site is a location of great importance. It's excavation is responsible for the discovery of the history and secrets of the Indo-Iran tribes of the Bronze Age – so-called androns, who lived there in the second millennium A.C. During more than twenty years of excavation, nearly 150 sepultures (stony fences and barrows), along with large settlements were found here. The numerous discoveries shed much light onto the lives of andron tribes; their manners and early religious beliefs - pottery, jewelry made of bronze and gold, tools, and also fragments of clothes - all representing a great value for science. Mostly they are kept and stored in the Lisakovsk Museum of History and Culture of the Top Pritobolje.
