Palace of culture of miners

Palace of Culture miners - one of the main attractions of Karaganda. It was built in 1940, and in 1952 was put into operation. Here are virtually all the important holidays of the country. The palace is a symmetrical composition of three volumes. The main body consists of a theater complex - the auditorium with 1000 seats, the lobby, the upper and lower lobby, the upper and lower lateral margins. The main facade of the palace has a three-axle symmetrical composition. The central part of the building represents a powerful six-column portico, consisting of octagonal columns, resting against the far wall to be relegated from the main pylons. These pylons are connected with the walls laced Gancheva arches arched shape. Portico entablature crowned by six sculptures: a miner, the builder, the shepherd with the lamb, collective farmers, with a sheaf, with dombra bard and warrior. Openwork Gancheva wall separating the box office lobby of the lower lobby, decorated with silhouettes of dancers, has become an exquisite complement to the brilliant background of artificial marble walls in the lower lobby, marble staircases with brass railings, painting the dome, crystal chandeliers, beautiful furniture, carpets, paintings, bronze sculpture groups .
