Turar Mysykbayev, 74 years old runner, appeared with the national flag of Kazakhstan at the stadium. In that way dentist at the present time, he decided to mark the important occasion and started his Marathon race at 5 am and finished at 10 am. He was rewarded medal, TV set and chapan.
Competitions continued till the evening. The first prize - Volga auto won Amangaly Zhartybayev from Zhualyn.
Then the concert followed. The day was finished with colourful fire works.
 

All the progressive mankind marked World Tourism Day in September, 27. Our region is one of the most favourite places for tourism: wide variety of landscapes makes it unique. If you cover 50 kilometers from south to north you will see permanent snow on the top of the mountains, Alpine meadows, bows, foothills, heaths, semi-deserts and deserts. Tien Shan... Unfortunately we can not be there often.
About 150 tourists, 120 of those were pupils, marked the celebration in an impressive and unforgettable way. From 1992 to the present time mass tourism with the children participation was an initiative of a few enthusiasts. Usually they were elder tourists. This year the regional newspaper "Znamya Truda", which will mark its 90ieth anniversary soon, "Ailara-tsentr" and "Seitov" became sponsors. The flag of "Znamya truda" in its turn became the symbol of competitions: all the participants, guests, juries gladly posed against it. First of all 16 teams chose a place for tents and organized the infrastructure of a small town. Kara-Arch ravine is a picturesque place to admire and the area, where the tourist camp was fixed, deserves attention. Clear and very cold river runs deep in the ravine. Greenth is on its shores: green and dogrose, hawthorn and willow, poplars... Camp's staff was under the giant poplar four meters around and twenty meters long. The giant tree divided into three bodies 1 meter around each on 2 meters high. According to experienced tourist's calculations the tree is more than 60 years old. A willow is on the other side of the river. Algae are different in colour. Green, brown, violet and red algae are visible through the clearest water. Dogrose, hawthorn and blackberry thickets gave their berries for brewing a phyto-tee, which is much better in the mountains than in a city.
Teams of schools # 7, 9, 13, 31, 38, 40, 41, Center of Technical Creative Work, RORPCS4, water polo players of "Dolphin" swimming-pool took part in this competition. The participants are divided according to age category: 11-14 years old, 15-16 years old, and 17-20 years old. Among tasks is a tourist song, map-reading, tourist lunch, bivouac arrangement and obstacle course, which consist of 10 segments. Waftage and other obstacles are included.
The representatives of the infant team "Kompas" (school #40) took prizes in "Obstacle course». Whereas the third place among teenagers gained "Forsazh", the second - "Yaguar" and ranked second to none "Stepnie orly". All the members of three teams study at school #31! This fact didn't upset anyone - the next competitions will take place soon! Two days spent in the mountains among like-minded friends is the best prize in itself.
But it was sad to dual the flag of competitions.
