The gas pipeline «Bejneu - Bozoj - Shymkent» will connect highways existing today in the country in a uniform internal network and for the first time will allow to submit domestic gas to the south the countries.
U.Shukeev has noticed that the gas pipeline civil-engineering design - one of the most complicated in practice of independent Kazakhstan. «Only feasibility report calculations have taken some years. At last, we were convinced that this project economic. It is justified. It is direct care of the Head of the state of increase of a standard of living of 5 million inhabitants of southern regions of the country», - the first vice-premier has told.
The gas pipeline is under construction in two stages. The first stage will be finished in 2013. The second - by 2016 with capacity to 10 million cubic meter of natural gas a year. Extent will make it 1475 kilometers. It will allow to install gas in 577 settlements. From them 230 are located in the South Kazakhstan area. The part from them has been never installed gas. Second half receives blue fuel from Uzbekistan. With highway start Kazakhstan can pass to domestic gas completely.
