Akmola region - edge of amazing contrasts of nature. One of his most unique places - Burabay resort, which has the poetic name of Kazakhstan’s Switzerland. More than 50 health centers and Borovoy Zerenda became a favorite holiday destination of tens of thousands of visitors and residents of the province. In the districts there are two national natural park Burabay and Kokshetau created to preserve the unique flora and animal planet.

Ancient Neolithic burial mounds, medieval shrines and other monuments to remind the eventful history of the region. Kokshetau is one of the interesting and distinctive cities in Kazakhstan. Title Kokshetau comes from the mountain tract Kokshetau which was originally planned to lay the city.
The vertex of Kokshetau in clear weather can be seen for tens of kilometers around. Granite Mountains covered with forests healing, blue lakes and clean air attracted people since ancient times.
These beautiful places have dedicated their poetic lines Akan-sere, Birzhan Sal, Ukili-Ibrahim, Zhayau Musa, Magzhan Zhumabayev, Ilyas Zhansugurov, Saken Seifullin and other poets and akins.
In this regard, holding the seventh Akmola Regional Tourism Fair (ARTF - 2010) is a major event aimed at creating and strengthening the tourist image of the Akmola region, and regions of Kazakhstan are closely cooperating in the field of tourism.
For the first time ARTF - 2010 will be held in the new Palace of Sports Burabai having republican value in the sports world, whose opening was held with participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
ARTF - traditionally an annual tourist event, taking place on the eve of the summer season that allows you to open and enrich the tourist market of Kazakhstan’s new members, great offers, new contracts and agreements to expand contacts with Kazakhstan and foreign partners.
For the first time ARTF was conducted in 2004 and every year is gaining momentum, new exhibitors and visitors.
In the past 2009 ARTF was conducted with a number of foreign delegations, including those headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Kazakhstan - Mr. Rainer Eugen Schlageter, Ambassador of India - Mr. Ashok Sadzhanhar, second secretary of the U.S. Embassy in Astana - Mr. Brian Uokli and others that gave this event international status.
The organizer of the fair - Department of tourism, physical culture and sport of Akmola region, coordinating the tourist activities in the district and involved in shaping and implementing public policy in the sphere of tourism.
At the upcoming fair will cover such topics as the tour operator and travel agency activities, booking systems, medical and health resort vacation, ecological and sports tourism, bus-tours, hotels, souvenirs, etc.
A busy agenda Tourism Fair ARTF - 2010 includes a press-conference contests on nominations from the enactment of valuable prizes, presentations, educational and celebratory events for visitors and participants of the fair.
Also, participants of the fair expects info-tour of the most unique natural attractions Akmola region that will leave impressions not forgotten about our land.

Визит Вице-министра Кайырбека Ускенбаева в Акмолинскую область

Так уж получилось, но сразу после закрытия зимней Олимпиады в Турине в Акмолинскую область с рабочим визитом пожаловал вице-министр туризма и спорта РК Кайырбек Ускенбаев. Думается, приезд гостя из Астаны именно в наш, богатый спортивными традициями регион, отнюдь не случаен. Да и сам Кайырбек Айтбаевич, на встрече со спортивным активом, которая состоялась в здании областного филиала партии «Нур Отан», не скрывал, что пристоличный край - родина многих выдающихся спортсменов - олимпийцев. У нас много и перспективной молодежи, которая способна уже на следующем спортивном форуме планеты заставить всех говорить о своих успехах.
 

Прежде всего, вице-министр постарался донести до присутствующих суть и дух последнего Послания Президента РК народу Казахстана, после чего ответил на вопросы присутствующих. Все они, так или иначе, касались развития спортивной базы, финансового обеспечения атлетов и тренеров, а также снабжения их всем необходимым инвентарем от лучших мировых фирм.

Вице-министр посетил и Дворец спорта «Бурабай», но теперь уже он задавал вопросы. А интересовало гостя многое: каковы возможности комплекса, и в какой степени загружены его спортивные площадки. Люди каких возрастных групп чаще всего приходят сюда поправить свое здоровье, и как идут дела у хоккейного клуба «Арлан».

Во второй половине дня Кайырбек Айтбаевич переехал в Бурабайский район, где ознакомился с ходом строительства республиканской лыжной базы.
