Every year, Europe Day is widely celebrated in Kazakhstan. This year's main event took place in Akmola region. December 10, 2010 in Kokshetau the session of the regional maslikhat involving Akima Akmola region Dyachenko S.A. The agenda included a question on the status and prospects of tourism development in the Akmola region.

By Akmola region were adopted separate presidential decree to create a special economic zone Burabai to create a modern tourist center that meets all international standards, resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the inclusion of the section "Development Shuchinsk-Borovsky resort" in the existing state program of tourism development for 2007-2011.
