December 4, 2011 as part of "Twenty-star tops" on the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the tract on a hill near Kokshetau PMCU held Republican tournament masters of hunting with birds of prey "Kansonar-2011", which is traditionally dedicated to the memory of the legendary hunter- berkutchi Masipa Batyrhanuly. A strict panel of judges headed by the director of the Federation V.Zemblevskim "Berkutchi" Kazakhstan, as well as state-coach Z.Abdullaevoy Sports Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and others fought a tough assessment of mastery of birds and their hosts. As a result of the five stages of competition winners of the tournament memory of the legendary hunter-berkutchi Masipa Batyrhanuly recognized: the first place was awarded with the award of a gold medal and a valuable prize - Serikbek Kuntugan master berkutchi of Astana, the second place with a silver medal award winner and the prize money Ablayhanu Zbasovu master - berkutchi of Akmola region, with a third place award winner of the bronze medal with cash prize handed – Toktybaevu Kuntuganu of Astana. For active participation in the program of competitions and the pursuit of high skills berkutchi three young participants were awarded the special diploma established name Masipa Batyrhanuly grandchildren of the famous hunter. Their owners were Ermek Imanzaip of Pavlodar region, Bayrak Tastambek of North-Kazakhstan and Shyngys Valikhanov of Akmola region. Awarding the young masters of hunting with birds of prey made Shynarbek Berkutbayuly-grandson of the famous hunter. The successful holding of the tournament was another worthy gift to the anniversary of the country, for the soaring eagle is a symbol of independence of sovereign Kazakhstan.
In 3-th November, 2011 Kokshe Academy headed by Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola province witnessed regional scientific projects contest for secondary schoolchildren, college and university students of Akmola region.
The aims of scientific projects contest were:
- To develop scientific and creative activity of secondary schoolchildren, college and university students, their searching and promotional activity in business, administration, tourism and law spheres;
- To establish scientific and business contacts between different schools, colleges and universities in order to attract young researchers to the scientific activity;
- To encourage full-scale development of the individual, acquire working skills in creative teams, attract to the organization and innovation activity;
- To contribute to the development of innovation infrastructure in Kokshetau.
The scientific projects contest was held in Kazakh and English languages.
Secondary schoolchildren, college and university students of Akmola province had been taken part in the regional contest of scientific projects. Projects had been represented in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
Scientific projects (research works) had been written by authors on the
following specialties (sections): economy (account, audit, marketing, management, finance); Tourism; Jurisprudence, History; Physical culture and sport; Kazakh language and literature; Design; pedagogics and psychology.
According to each direction there were 3 scientists (specialists) and also specialists of professional environment of Akmola province, representatives of Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola province, “Kokshetau” State National Natural Park, Association of Industry, tourism and recreation of Akmola province, doctors and candidates of sciences of Kokshe Academy and the structure of contest committee. The structure of contest committee had been approved by organizing committee.
Secondary schoolchildren and college students of Stepnogorsk, Shyuchinsk, Kokshetau, Burabai, Zharkayin, Atbassar and Zerenda regions had been taken part in the contest. About 30 applications were submitted. 20 best works and also collections of scientific had been chosen by members of contest committee to take part in final stage and open public defense.
Contest participants from each section had an opportunity to outline main provisions of scientific project in the session. Each speaker was allotted 10 minutes. During the scientific projects contest there had been used technical arrangements and reference materials.
According to the conference requirements contest committee had examined scientific works and determined participants in the final stage.
By the results of public defense authors of the best scientific works and their advisers had been awarded by diplomas, certificates and memorable presents of Kokshe Academy, Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola region.
The contest consisted of 4 stages. Opening ceremony witnessed in October 28, 2011.

July 13 this year in Akmola region on a working visit arrived the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Kazakhstan Olga Demin O.A.
In akimat region was held Ambassador’s meeting with akim of Akmola region Dyachenko S.A. In the course of which held talks on further cooperation with Ukraine and Akmola region. During the visit, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador met with several business leaders Kokshetau, visited and got acquainted with the work of JSC "KAMAZ-Engineering", JSC "Tynys", then took part in a special program prepared by the Slavic Cultural and Educational Society "Origins."
At the end of the visit by the Department of tourism physical culture and sport had a separate tour program to visit the best sites Shchuchinsk-Burabay resort.

June 24 2011. in Department of tourism, physical culture and sport of Akmola region met with their French counterparts, who are the main coordinators of the project through Tempus EU to establish a high school hospitality in Akmola.
The winner of the grant for the implementation of this is relevant to the сapital area of the project is Kokshetau State University Sh.Ualihanova.
With the assistance of the Department of tourism, physical culture and sport, Education Department Akmola region in the first phase involving the employer subjects the tourism business has completed the development of educational training programs with European standards and requirements of the Bologna Process.
At a meeting in the Office of tourism, physical culture and sport Project Manager Anwar Kakabaev - representative of the University im.Sh.Ualihanova informed about the project in Akmola, representative of the French side - project manager Jean Pasha highlighted Kazakh partners on a number of unresolved issues for this project. In particular, ask the authorized agency for tourism to assist in the selection of tourist areas on the base, which will be the practical training of students.
Deputy Head of Department of tourism, physical culture and sport of Akmola region Sh.
