  Soaring eagle - the symbol of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the sign of the Day of Independence of our country, a remarkably beautiful tract near Kokshetau city of Akmola region in the hills Bukpa was annually held the Open Championship of the Republic with hunting birds "Kansonar." To the great delight and admiration of the guests and participants the land of Kokshetau met them with a dazzling bright sun in the winter holiday decoration, fresh snow and crisp frost.
Great whales – golden eagle and hawk hunters arrived to Kokshetau for taking part in the Championship from Akmola, Karaganda, Pavlodar regions and from Astana. The whales at stalker birds hunting coming for their main competitive forum proudly listened to the solemn opening under the hymn of Kazakhstan. The Championship consisted of three selective stages in which the proficients demonstrated their feathery’s in skills of seeking bags from bird’s eye view and “off like a shot” gained the target – first a drag, then soared highly in the sky for catching an escaping bag – tripping hares and cute bushy foxes. It was necessary to mention about the peculiar difficulties of all the stages of the competition, which gave the possibility to choose the strongest birds for hunting actually rather a big and furious beasts of prey such as a wolf. It was incredible admiration among the numerous observers and funs provoked high golden eagles flights and their impetuous falls on the bag-targets and their flights to the masters. It was important to recognize that among the bags you could see prompt hares and big foxes, which could escape from fatal claws of stalkers and ran away into the forest. Here were the champions of the hunting competition: burkutchies - Faizulla Berkutbai from Almaty region, Umutkhan TAstambek and Abylaikhan Zbasov from Akmola region, Serik Abdrazakov from Karaganda and Imanzaip TAsybayev form Pavlodar regions, and many others.

But no less risky and unforgettable was the competition of whales at hawk hunting, which was also the point of infinite admiration among numerous spectators and funs. Together with famous and skilful proficients young berkutchies such as Seitzhan Almaz, Aben Abzal and Bayetbai Sagynysh form Almaty region demonstrated a high mastery of their stalkers, which during the flight tapped the bag like a flash. At the ceremony of awarding the right to open it was given to the honored guest – the nephew of a legendary berkutchi-hunter incumbent of a glamorous title “recipient of hunting skills of USSR” Massip Batyrkhan-uly, who told about his grandfather Mussip who in 30-40-s of the last century was a famous berkutchi-hunter, took part in All-Union competitions among the hunters, won and was awarded by honorable diplomas valued at those years. During the World War he seeing off his sons to the front he himself gained the victory over the fascists by hunting not far from his aul (village) Botay, selling the furs to Moscow he helped the front with arms and weapons. Massip Batyrkhanov was awarded with the golden medal by the General Presidium of Supreme Soviet on 6, June, 1945 e. “For selfless and brave labour duting the Second World War 1941-1945”. Massip’s nephew Shinarbek Berkutbay-uly taking part in reckoning up awarded the established by Massip’s son Berkutbay a special diploma and prize of his legendary grandfather to young and notable berkutchi-hunters from different regions of Kazakhstan. During the last years ther winners of that unique diploma under the name of Massip Batyrkhan-uky were young berkutchies form Karaganda region – the only girl Makpal Abdrazakova, Bauyrzhan Sherniyaz form Zhambyl, Kanat Shukenbayev and Denis Sheer from Akmola region, Erkebulan Takhtybayev from Astana and many others.
The official arbiters of Kazakhstan Championship of stalkers’s hunters were: the chief arbitrator of the Championship, state coach of national sport games of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ramazan Gainullaevich Sattybayev, director of Akmola Children Youth Sport School Marat Koishyn nad others. The Title of Champion and a Golden Medal was awarded to Toktybai Kuntugan from Astana, a silver medal and costly prize was presented Kuntugan Serikbek form Astana, the incumbent of bronze medal of the Championship was Serik Abdrazakov form Karagande region.

  12, December, 2012 Culinary Association of Kazakhstan with support of the management of tourism, physical culture and sports in Kokshetau held the IV Akmola regional festival of national cuisines-2012.
The main purpose of the festival aimes to improving and enhancing services in tourism catering, promote culinary arts, improving food and hospitality industry, share experiences, identifying perspectives for cooking developing in the hotel-tourism industry.
There in the frame of the festival was held the competition among chefs of the restaurants, catering and leisure area, individuals and team in culinary skill competitions in the nomination “Best national food”, “Best decorated table”. During the festival, there was a contest on the nominations: "Best pastry", "Best Waiter" and "Best Chef".
In the festival of the national cuisines there participated the organizations of Burabay resort, culinary and catering firms of Kokshetau, associations, training centers, training staff service centers for resorts and sanatorium regions.
At the end of the festival for the team competition the following prizes were awarded:
1st place: KSU "Building and technical college № 1 the city of Kokshetau"
2nd place: College of tourism and service Schuchinsk town
3rd place: High School of Tourism and Hospitality of “Koshe” academy
“Best national food” was presented by "Express" café of Burabay region. “Best decorated table” was awarded to the College of tourism and service Schuchinsk town. “Best themed lunch” presented by Building and technical college № 1 of Kokshetau.
All the winners of competitive programs were awarded by special certificates and prizes.
According to the general requirements, the participants of the festival wore professional clothes (jackets, hats, aprons, shoes). The winners were nominated by the qualified commission consisted of independent experts of the Association of gastrologers of RK, high-class experts in the culinary field. The festival was attended by the President of the Association of gastrologers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, judge of the International class by the criteria of the World Association of culinary unions - Maschinskaya E.I.
The Commission paid great attention not only to the skill to lay the table, serve the guests, but also in cooking proficiency with delicious taste and the complexity of its preparation.

According to the Plan of arrangements on implementation of the Program of development of the perspective directions of the tourist industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, approved by the resolution of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1048 from October 11, 2010 and for the purpose of development of internal tourism, Committee of the industry of tourism of the Ministry of INT RK together with akimat of Akmola district during the period from October 17 to October 19, 2012, in Kokshetau organised the Kazakhstan tourist fair «Sarkylmas sayakhat» (mobile).
The main task of holding this arrangement was development of internal tourism, and also assistance to Kazakhstan tourism organizations in creating favorable conditions for holding business negotiations and placement of beneficial contracts.
Tanysbayev Kuat Muratovich - the chairman of Committee of the industry of tourism of MINT RK, Asambayeva Rosa Abdykhamitovna - Director of the Center of tourism development of CIT MINT RK, Mikhan Emilmez - Arpa - Director of the department of the Ministry of wood and water management of the Turkish Republic, Shaykenova Rashida Rashidovna - Director of Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA), Almaty, the President of the Kazakhstan association of hotels and restaurants, Amrenova A.B. - the deputy of akim of Kokshetau, and also representatives of managements of the all regions of Kazakhstan, the local executive bodies, supervising questions of tourism, subjects of tourist activity, the educational institutions, preparing experts for the sphere of tourism, national natural parks and reserves, producers engaged in manufacturing of souvenir products and other organizations entering into a tourist cluster of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in this fair.
There were representatives from SNNP "Burabai" and "Kokshetau", Korgalzhyn state national natural park, sanatorium "Shchuchinskiy" took part in fair, therapeutic complex "Okzhetpes", hotels "Almaz", "Alma-Ata", Park hotel Kokshetau, RHC "Priozerniy", masters of applied art, Center of protection and use of historical and cultural heritage, Eco- enlightened center «Tabigat alemi», the educational institutions preparing tourist staff, etc. as a part of delegation from Akmola district.
The fair was held in showroom of Dostar Palace of culture. Within the fair there were press conference for representatives of mass media, competitions in the nominations were: on the best exhibition, the best advertizing and informational package and the best IT plan about tourism, a promo tour on Shchuchinsk-Borovskoi resort zone.
Within the fair there was the republican seminar - subject matter: «Prospects of development of ecological tourism in Kazakhstan» with participation of Muzhubayev M. M. – the representative of Committee of wood and hunting economy of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Eleusizova M. Kh. - chairman of the Ecological union "Tabigat", Duysengaliyeva T.T. – director of LTD “Zhibek-Zholy”.
Following the results of participation in the fair Akmola district is awarded the 1st all-command place, and also the 1st place in the nomination «The best exhibition». The second and third place in this nomination is awarded accordingly to Aktobe and Mangistau districts. In the nomination «The best information and advertizing package» the I place is awarded to Pavlodar, the II place – to Almaty, the III place – to Kostanai districts. In the nomination «The best IT plan about tourism» the I place is awarded to Astana, the II place – to the advertizing company «IT Expert» Kokshetau, the III place – to Almaty. All winners are awarded by Diplomas and prizes of Committee of the industry of tourism of MINT RK.

Once again, the main report, Mayor Akmola region to the population at the Palace of Culture "Kokshetau" the organizers presented the best achievement of almost all industries - the region's economy in three rooms of the exhibition. Along with the achievements in the agricultural sector presented their best facilities in tourism. The most intense look stands of national parks "Kokshetau", "Burabai."
Successfully represented the edge of our hotel business hotel "Almaz", children's recreation facilities are widely presented OK "Sunkar", are not left behind Korgalzhyn State Reserve, Sandyktau natural system, etc.
The great interest of visitors caused a unique work of craftsmen L.I Vlasenko, Boykovskaya A.K., Dzhakupbekovoy V., Friesen, V.I., Yarotsky L. and other detailed information about the activities of the Academy "Kөkshe" training tourist staff presented the head of the Academy departamenata Yerzhanova G.E.
