In 3-th November, 2011 Kokshe Academy headed by Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola province witnessed regional scientific projects contest for secondary schoolchildren, college and university students of Akmola region.
The aims of scientific projects contest were:
- To develop scientific and creative activity of secondary schoolchildren, college and university students, their searching and promotional activity in business, administration, tourism and law spheres;
- To establish scientific and business contacts between different schools, colleges and universities in order to attract young researchers to the scientific activity;
- To encourage full-scale development of the individual, acquire working skills in creative teams, attract to the organization and innovation activity;
- To contribute to the development of innovation infrastructure in Kokshetau.
The scientific projects contest was held in Kazakh and English languages.
Secondary schoolchildren, college and university students of Akmola province had been taken part in the regional contest of scientific projects. Projects had been represented in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
Scientific projects (research works) had been written by authors on the
following specialties (sections): economy (account, audit, marketing, management, finance); Tourism; Jurisprudence, History; Physical culture and sport; Kazakh language and literature; Design; pedagogics and psychology.
According to each direction there were 3 scientists (specialists) and also specialists of professional environment of Akmola province, representatives of Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola province, “Kokshetau” State National Natural Park, Association of Industry, tourism and recreation of Akmola province, doctors and candidates of sciences of Kokshe Academy and the structure of contest committee. The structure of contest committee had been approved by organizing committee.
Secondary schoolchildren and college students of Stepnogorsk, Shyuchinsk, Kokshetau, Burabai, Zharkayin, Atbassar and Zerenda regions had been taken part in the contest. About 30 applications were submitted. 20 best works and also collections of scientific had been chosen by members of contest committee to take part in final stage and open public defense.
Contest participants from each section had an opportunity to outline main provisions of scientific project in the session. Each speaker was allotted 10 minutes. During the scientific projects contest there had been used technical arrangements and reference materials.
According to the conference requirements contest committee had examined scientific works and determined participants in the final stage.
By the results of public defense authors of the best scientific works and their advisers had been awarded by diplomas, certificates and memorable presents of Kokshe Academy, Physical culture, sport and tourism department of Akmola region.
The contest consisted of 4 stages. Opening ceremony witnessed in October 28, 2011.

As part of the Master Plan creation and development of tourism cluster in Akmola for 2009-2011, approved by the session for the number of regional maslikhat 4c-19-8 on 10/12/09, the Office of Tourism, Physical Culture and Sport of the Akmola region, together with the Akimat Ereymentau district, eco-educational center «Tabihat alemi» held a regional workshop «Development of ecological tourism in Akmola region».
The seminar was attended by scientists, environmentalists, teachers, representatives of local executive bodies supervising the field of tourism, national parks and reserves, higher education institutions that train specialists in the field of tourism, as well as international and Kazakhstan non-governmental, non-governmental organizations that promote eco-tourism development, as well as the subjects of tourism business.
The aim of the workshop was to review the status and prospects of development of ecological tourism in Akmola, discussions on development of eco-tourism as a priority area tourism industry, conservation of forest, and mountain and steppe ecosystem Ereymentau district through the development of ecological tourism.
Opened and chaired a workshop Sh. Batyrhanov, deputy head of tourism, physical culture and sports Akmola region and gave a presentation on «Status and prospects of development of ecological tourism in the region».
With the theme of the presentation Key aspects of the development of ecotourism in the district Ereymentau made Aliyah Iralina Tanirbergenovna - Director of Environmental and Educational Center «Tabiғat alemi». The presentation of the potentialities of ecological tourism in promoting education of respect for nature and environmental education, both from tourists and local people. Detailed presentation about the importance of promoting eco-tourism is not only environmental protection but also improve the socio-economic development of rural areas and promote the revival of national traditions and crafts, conservation of forest, mountain and steppe ecosystem Ereymentau district through the development of ecological tourism. The seminar was attended Khusainov Abilzhan Tokanovich - Doctor of Biological Sciences, Director of NGO «Eco-Environmental Center Kokshe» K im.Sh.Ualihanova teacher, in his speech The principles of environmental assessment of tourist routes on the example of SNNP Kokshetau» Topic Development environmental public, providing the population with information about the state of the environment, the organization of public control, compliance with legislation in the field of nature, etc.
Also, the seminar addressed the theme of «The organization of tours and tourist routes in the State National Natural Park Kokshetau», the role of associations and NGOs in the development of ecotourism as an important factor in promoting tourism products Korgalzhyn region made Luft LA - Director of NGO «Spring. School № 13 «Ekos project, «The world around us»; said Sergey A. Buryka - the teacher of this school. The practical part of the second day continued with participants leaving the territory of the newly formed branch of the SNNP «Buyratau» Participants of the workshop was an opportunity to learn from guest houses s.Karagayly and service services provided under the rural tourism development.
There was a trip on tourist routes «Karagaily» and «Zhaushoky where participants got acquainted in detail the monuments of Turkic culture and burials of the Bronze Age barrows and the Saka period, as well as the natural objects of the national park «Buyratau».
During the familiarization with the region’s tourism potential seminarians came to the conclusion that this area in the near future will be attractive as a model of the ecological niche of Turkic nomads and attract a large flow of tourists.
At the end of the workshop are designed and made recommendations aimed at further development of ecological tourism in Akmola. In the recommendations of the workshop included proposals to amend the legislation defining the eco-tourism and its basic principles, promotion and support to small and medium-sized businesses, which are aimed at the development of tourism infrastructure and related services, stakeholders in the tourism business promoting the image of the region through the release of information publications with indication of all the objects related to the tourism infrastructure, development of videos touting eco-tourism, etc.

5. Perspektivy development of children in tourism Korgalzhyn area. On that subject, unfolded a lively discussion among the roundtable participants. Unfortunately, to date, children are hiking in the area or who are not involved, although the region has good potential for this kind of tourism.
It has a unique and Korgalzhyn Reserve Visitor Center, Children’s Sports School and others in the developing eco-tourism, a shortage of tour guides, tour guides. Developing the desk and youth tourism, the area could in the future to get their shots, which will be familiar with the terrain and the nature of the region.
In addition, tourism contributes to a children’s diverse personality of the child, the disclosure of his creative abilities and skills of self-organization, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and raises patriotic feelings.
The round table was decided to promote the development of youth tourism in Korgalzhyn area. Division of Tourism, Physical Culture and Sports together with Ryo and Korgalzhyn reserve mandated to develop an action plan on children’s tourism. On October 3 the contest «Young tourist», dedicated to the International Tourism Day. Organizers of the contest - a Department of tourism, physical culture and sport of Korgalzhyn district Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve. The purpose of the contest - the development of youth tourism in the region, raising a healthy younger generation. The competition held on the playground Druzhbinskoy high school. Korgalzhyn.
The competition was attended by teams of students 8-9 grades Druzhbinskoy school s.Korgalzhyn, Korgalzhyn Secondary School, Aryktinskoy, Kyzyltuyskoy Mayshukurskoy and secondary schools.
In this competition the guys competed in such tasks as: team building, which took into account appearance, a single form, a greeting, a competition for the assembly and disassembly of the tent, a campfire for a while, a sports competition, «Crossing», «Downhill skiing»; best execution Tourism songs.
The first place was the team Druzhbinskoy High School, second-team Aryktinskoy High School, third place - Korgalzhyn grammar school. The prize-winners received diplomas and valuable gifts, the other members - Diplomas for participation in the contest.
It is noteworthy that such a competition was held in the area for the first time in many years. Plan to continue similar activities to form a team of young tourists Korgalzhyn region that could be worthy to participate in similar events at a higher level.

The festival is «Flamingo» in the area Korgalzhyn Akmola region becomes a good tradition, the number of participants is growing each year, increasing its significance. If in the last 2010 festival was held in two stages - at the district and provincial level, in the current year second phase will be carried out already at the national level in Astana.A same stage of the festival - at the district level was held August 12, 2011 in the village Korgalzhyn. It was organized by akimat Korgalzhyn area Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve, a regional cultural center and the region.
The main purpose of the festival - attracting the attention of state and public organizations, local communities, charities international funds to the problems of preserving the unique biodiversity of the region Korgalzhyn, education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, of responsibility for the nature of the area. We, the locals are proud of what our protected lakes were recognized at the international level. Korgalzhyn reserve is included in the Ramsar Convention, an international organization «Living Lakes», which includes the most unique lakes in the world, the World Natural Heritage list. Tourists from all over the world come to admire our steppe and lakes in our birds. The symbol of the festival is not accidentally selected a bird - a flamingo. On the territory of Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve on the lake. Tengiz is the most northern, and in the last three decades - the only nesting site of pink flamingos in the CIS. The number of these birds in different years varies from 20 to 50 thousand. Each year from distant tropical countries, where virtually no winter, enough food and nesting places for tens of thousands of pink beauties are returned to their homeland, where the withdrawal of their chicks. Flamingo - pride and glory of our land, the business card of our area. Therefore, most of the works submitted for the contest, held during the festival, was dedicated to this particular bird. Despite the fact that the event this year was conducted during the summer holidays, more than 70 participants from Korgalzhyn region took part in it. About 160 papers were received for competitions. Age of competitors is not limited to; the youngest participant was only 4 years. Through his art festival participants have tried to show the full range of unique wildlife. In each work, and feel the thrill of love for their land, particularly relevant to the favorite in these parts - the pink flamingos. All works have been exhibited in the district House of Culture, which were able to visit everyone. As a result of the jury were determined winners in three age categories. Grand Prix for the most original and time-consuming work has received fifteen Aitzhanova Arai.
Nomination - Best Art Direction landscape of the nature of Korgalzhyn region, in the age group of 5-10 years, won Kabylov Scandals, from 11-17 years - Tleulesova Zhuldyz, aged 18 and older - Baltash Hizmat.
In the category - the best work of applied art on the theme of «Pink Flamingos», in the age group of 5-10 years work better recognized the work of Labuzovoy Victoria, from 11-17 years-winner Romazanova Aida, aged 18 and older - Zhakupbekova Valentine. All winners received diplomas and prizes.
During the festival at the Great Hall of Palace of Culture held a competition for the nomination - the best theatrical and dance performances, the best songs and poems about flamingos. The audience warmly greeted adults and still very young contestants.They really liked the poem a young poet Syzdykova Gulzhahar, as well as the poem «The Queen of the day», dedicated to the poet Irina flamingo Deev, and creativity is the name known far beyond the Korgalzhyn area. Excellent team made the national theater. K. Kusainova, dance group «Flamingo» and many others. Diplomas and gifts were awarded the participants, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as some of the best works. It is noteworthy that all the prizes for the winners and consolation prizes for all participants acquired Korgalzhyn reserve.

«Young Astana» is the centre of gravity of Eurasia» is that a keynote of exhibition “Astana Leisure 2011”, an especial urgency to which gives 20-year-old anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, marked this year. Stands of all regions of Kazakhstan present the basic part of the exposition.
Talgat Yermegiyev, the Minister of tourism and sports of the Republic Kazakhstan so marks the importance of event: «Exhibition Astana-Leisure-2011» has been held on our professional holiday - the World Day of tourism and in a year of significant event of our country - the 20 anniversaries of Independence of Republic Kazakhstan. Carrying out of such professional events as exhibition “Astana-Leisure” taken place in the capital already for the eighth time, plays a considerable role in the effective advancement of Kazakhstan as the domestic tourist industry. Along with tourist potential of Kazakhstan, exhibition “Astana Leisure” represents the most urgent directions of a fall-winter tourist season».
In comparison with the last year, the exposition increased by 20 %. More than 60 companies from Argentina, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, China, Switzerland, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan took part in the event.
Four national tourist organisations presented national stands on Astana Leisure, it shows at first the interest to the Kazakhstan tourist market, and secondly popularity and authoritativeness of the Expo-event. Along with traditional national stands from Thailand and Turkey, for the first time this year to Astana there has arrived the National tourist organisation of Georgia. The Ministry of tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan takes the central stand of an exhibition.
All Kazakhstan regions: hotels, boarding houses and resorts are presented as separate expositions, and at stands regional governments, both administrations of cities of Astana and Almaty and occupied important places on “Astana Leisure”.
Dynamics of the Kazakhstan tourist market of a fall-winter season is shown by participation of large tour operators: companies of Kazunion, Gulnar Round, etc.
Five airlines from 4 countries participate in exhibition Astana-Leisure 2011, such as: Air Astana (Kazakhstan), the International Airlines of Ukraine (Ukraine), SCAT (Kazakhstan), Turkish Airlines (Turkey), Etihad Airways (United Arab Emirates). It is especially necessary to notice, that the International Airlines of Ukraine (MAU), carrying out about 200 flights weekly in cities of Western Europe and Asia. They are the official sponsor of exhibition Astana Leisure 2011 in 2011.
Exhibition novelties
For the first time the company from Argentina (Ankistur-conducting versatile tour operator) participates in the Kazakhstan projects, in particular at exhibition Astana Leisure.
Wide possibilities of Internet technologies in the field of tourism, namely booking systems «Abakus the Central Asia» (Kazakhstan) and «Amadeus Jee Dee S» (Kazakhstan), information technologies for tourist industry of "the Network of shops of last minute deal» (Kazakhstan/Russia) and «Broni.ru» (Russia) were presented in Astana Leisure 2011.
«Al-Minara», Astana Leisure company, will present for the first time one of the actual directions in modern tourism-pilgrim rounds Khadj and Umra at the exhibition.
The Ministry of tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and kazakhstani exhibition company "Iteca" have initiated this international exhibition.
The exhibition «Astana-Demalys 2010» is to promote development and expansion of business cooperation between representatives of the Asian international tourism industry, to establish partner communications in the sphere of tourism and to exchange of new ideas. The exhibition main objectives are:
- Development of domestic tourism, expansion of communication with foreign countries on a tourist exchange.
- Creation of favorable conditions for exhibitors on wide and high-grade representation of tourist products, both Kazakhstan, and to foreign tour operators.
The regional tourist organisations; tour operators and tourist agencies; airlines and air-agencies; hotels, boarding houses, resorts; transport agencies; trading associations and the organisations; information technologies in tourism; ecological tourism and others have been most interestingly presented among exhibition sections.
There were organizers and guests of honour: Kaken K.G. - the Chairman of Committee of the industry of tourism of the Ministry of tourism and sports of the RK, Nikitinskij E.S. - the Adviser of the Minister of tourism and sports РК, Kurmanbaev A.K. - the head of department of tourism, physical training and sports of Astana, V.Pavlenko the-manager of Open Company “Iteca” at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition on September, 27 of the present year.
Kaken K.G., Kurmanbayev Ye.S., V.Pavlenko presented their salutatory words before visitors and participants of the exhibition.
Exhibition stands of more than 50 representations of the domestic tourist industry and 10 foreign countries representing all the newest were presented at the exhibition, prepared for a forthcoming fall-winter season.
Bright expositions at the exhibition showed a tourist potential of Akmola region offered by Department of tourism, physical training and sports together with SNNP «Kokshetau», «Burabai», resorts "Okzhetpes", "Shchuchinsky" - «Zheryiuk, «Zeleny bort», the holiday centre "Zeren", hotel "Almaz", boarding house "Zhumbaktas", tourist firms "Kruiz", «Zholymbet», Open Companies "Liders", etc. The presented tour productions surprised the domestic companies and the companies of near and far abroad with its great variety.
More than 20 thousand units of advertising-information materials represent a tourist potential of Akmola region. Department of tourism, physical training and sports of Akmola region handed the award «For achievements», the certificate of gratitude from organizers, for active participation in the given exhibition, for substantial representation of a lay-out of the exhibition of Akmola region to International company “Iteca”. It has become a great experience for those who participated in the given exhibition for tourism subjects of Akmola who got introduced with rich international experience of the large tourist companies of foreign countries.
The high award is the powerful incentive for tourism subjects’ expansion and increase of the level of service, the further expansion of the list and a variety of an advertising-information material, improvement of quality and appeal to regional touristic production for the Kazakhstan and foreign tourists.
